Getting it
Take Vol1-complete.zip below. One download covers the whole volume.
When the book says "the Chapter 7 pack (v1_07_pack.zip, DL-1-07)", unzip this file and open the DL-1-07 folder. v*_pack.zip is the older name and no file uses it any more. Go by the DL code and you will always land on the right pack.

Before you start
Do not run the exercises on original work files, and do not use files that hold personal data or company secrets. Work with a copy.
Everything here is synthetic. The company names, people, contact details, and amounts are invented and match no real ones. Put an approval step in front of anything you cannot undo — deleting, sending, overwriting. Chapter 14 covers how to judge this.
